Trump's Family Member Seeks Professional Advice from Golf Legend Woods Prior to Professional Golf Debut

Young golfer preparing for significant tournament

The rising star has impressive online following

Kai Trump will have multiple well-known backers when she makes her first LPGA appearance later this week.

The 18-year-old athlete, who is the granddaughter of Donald Trump, obtained a tournament invitation to play at Florida's Annika event in Florida.

Her grandfather, a passionate golfer, possesses multiple courses worldwide and regularly matches against Kai.

"He's quite skilled. I can't say much but we have tight competitions," she mentioned.

Kai explained that Trump, who won't be present, counseled her: "Simply stay calm."

"He practically advised me to play and relax," she explained.

"To me, he's just a normal grandpa. He can't make it this weekend. He's focused on world affairs, making him rather occupied."

As an amateur, the golfer has played in a mere three competitions this year and maintains the 461st position in the American Junior Golf Association rankings.

But she's able to get advice from 15-time major champion, who is dating Kai's mother.

"He is the greatest golfer globally," Kai expressed.

"Furthermore, he's an even better person. He told me to play, relax, adapting to whatever happens."

She'll challenge multiple the biggest names in the sport at this tournament, such as second-ranked Nelly Korda, England's Charley Hull, professional Thompson and 2023 champion champion Vu.

Tournament organizers mentioned that Kai's presence brings golf to different demographics, especially reaching younger fans.

Kai has a massive following and has started her own fashion and living brand.

Her first tee time at late afternoon GMT.
